5min Students complete the Do Now by identifying the parts of the phase change charts.

10min Other States of Matter and Phase Changes notes.

5min Students write a paragraph summary and margin questions.

25min Cheer Activity: (1) Teacher outlines the requirements for cheers. (2) Students write cheers that include phase, energy (+/-), particle behavior (closer/farther), and states (solid/liquid/gas). (3) Students create choreography for cheer. (4) Students perform cheers.

5min Clean up. Wrap up.
