5min Students write a paragraph summary and margin questions.
25min Cheer Activity: (1) Teacher outlines the requirements for cheers. (2) Students write cheers that include phase, energy (+/-), particle behavior (closer/farther), and states (solid/liquid/gas). (3) Students create choreography for cheer. (4) Students perform cheers.
5min Clean up. Wrap up.
