QUICK VIEW

• HW: Finish video project and turn in via Google Classroom, 11/27 for groups & 12/3 for individuals. (See previous post.).

• CW: Complete the Good Slideshow (via Google Classroom)

• DN: Turn in your storyboards and take your assigned Chromebook.

• Reminder: [1] Groups that miss the deadline will have to turn individual videos. [2] Video must be made in segments: states of matter, then particle models, and then phase transitions.

LESSON OUTLINE

5min Students complete the Do Now by turning in storyboards and taking their assigned Chromebooks.

5min Teacher outlines the assignment and explains the guidelines for a ‘good’ slideshow.

10min Teacher demonstrates how to present with a ‘good’ slideshow. Then demonstrates how not to present with a ‘bad’ slideshow containing the exact same information.

20min Students create a slideshow that addresses what we should and shouldn’t eat. Teacher monitors and asks guiding questions.

5min Feedback on storyboards. Storyboards are returned.

5min Return Chromebooks. Collect materials. Clean up. Wrap up.
