10min Think & Explain Cellular Respiration Handout. Teacher introduces and class completes the first section together. Students work independently and then class reviews answers.

5min Wheel Design. Teacher introduces the challenge and construction techniques. Students design a wheel with a diameter of 11.5 inches that is constructed out of paper and glue only.

20min Wheel Construction. Students build wheels based on their design.

5min Students test their wheels to see which rolls the furthest.

5min Collect materials. Clean up. Wrap up.
