15min Know-A-Plastic Group Presentation. Students make a quick presentation on a specific plastic (PET/PETE, Polystyrene, PVC, HDPE, LDPE, PMMA, Nylon) using a provided template. (Must follow ‘Good’ presentation rules and include URLs.)

5min Distribution of Materials. (1 Green, 2 Red, 1 Orange, 3 Yellow/Clear, and 6 toothpicks). Students share slideshow (posted on google classroom) to work in pairs.
20min Gummy Bear Molecule Activity. Students make molecules (NH3, O2, CO2, CNH, & CNH3O) using gummy bears and toothpicks. Turn in via Google Classroom.
10min Project Planning Time. Students brainstorm on what materials they can use to make their atom models. Students share their plans with class.
