10min Teacher outlines the procedure for the MiniLab. Students will sweep the jump area and then line up. The rope will rotate to the beat of a metronome as students jump through.
15min Students collect data - the number of students that clear the jump rope. (BPM: 40, 60, 80, and 100.)
5min Students calculate the averages.
5min Students determine the independent variable, dependent variable, constants, hypothesis, and title.
5min Students plot their data; add an appropriate trendline; complete an analysis; and make a prediction for an untested distance. (How many students would clear the jump rope at 30 BMP.)
