5min Students complete the Do Now.

10min Crackers & Eating Time MiniLab. Teacher outlines the procedure for the MiniLab and takes volunteers. Students collect cracker consumption time data. (Time required to consume 1, 2, 3, or 4 crackers.)

5min Students determine the independent variable, dependent variable, constants, hypothesis, and title.

5min Students plot their data; add an appropriate trendline; complete an analysis; and make a prediction for 3.5 crackers.

15min Layers of the Food. Draw an Avocado, Peach, Cherry, Hard Boiled Egg, or Kiwi. Label the Crust, Mantle, and Core.

5min Collect materials. Clean up. Wrap up.
